Research Opportunity: Coastal Research for Undergraduate Students in North Carolina

Just in time for Fall advising, we're happy to introduce CRUS-NC: Coastal Research for Undergraduate Students in North Carolina. CRUS-NC is a semester-long experience for undergraduates to live and study at a UNC coastal facility. Through a combination of independent research, a week-long coastal field course, and online courses students can earn up to 15 credits for the Spring 2016 semester. The focus of CRUS-NC is on experiential learning and independent research at UNCW or the Coastal Studies Institute, and we've leveraged online learning technology to give students maximum flexibility in their schedules to permit time in the field and lab. CRUS-NC is open to all UNC-system undergraduate students and is ideal for sophomores and juniors. For Spring 2016 students have the opportunity to live and work at either the Coastal Studies Institute in Manteo or at UNCW.
