Appalachian State University has committed to participating in the Clinton Global Initiative University, which gives college students funding for programs to help with local or nationally issues like poverty, the environment, or improving education. The program also pays to send students selected to a national conference with other selected students from around the country.
There will be an information session in Snake Mountain Room in the PSU on Wednesday, October 19th at 2:30 pm. Dr. Brian MacHarg in the ACT office is also available to answer any questions about the program.
