Appalachian State University is closely monitoring the developing COVID-19 situation, which continues to evolve rapidly.
The university remains open, and has extended Spring Break until 8 a.m. March 23. Beginning March 23, App State will transition from in-person instruction to a system of alternative course delivery, with all Academic Affairs units remaining operational.
While residence halls and dining halls remain open, operational modifications and precautions are being taken to support social distancing, and we have encouraged students to study and take classes from home.
