ASU Students Participate in the 7th Annual State of North Carolina Undergraduate Research and Creativity Symposium

A total of 44 undergraduate ASU students representing 13 different departments (Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Environmental Science, History, Interdisciplinary Studies, Mathematical Sciences, Music, Nutrition, Physics and Astronomy, Psychology, and Technology) made research presentations at the Seventh Annual State of North Carolina Undergraduate Research and Creativity Symposium at East Carolina University, Greenville, NC, November 19, 2011. A total of 41 North Carolina academic institutions attended the symposium, and students from across the state delivered 393 research/creative performance presentations. ASU students presented their research and creative endeavors in posters, oral reports, creative expressions, and interactive exhibits. Duke University will host the Eighth Annual State of North Carolina Undergraduate Research Symposium in Nov. 2012.
