ASU Students Participate in the 8th Annual State of North Carolina Undergraduate Research and Creativity Symposium

A total of 44 undergraduate ASU students representing 13 different departments/programs (Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Mathematical Sciences, Music, Marketing, Physics and Astronomy, Psychology, Religious Studies, Building Science, Interior Design and Geology ) made research presentations at the Eighth Annual State of North Carolina Undergraduate Research and Creativity Symposium at Duke University, Durham, NC, November 17, 2012. A total of 30 North Carolina academic institutions attended the symposium, and students from across the state delivered 395 research/creative performance presentations. ASU students presented their research and creative endeavors in posters, oral reports, creative expressions, and interactive exhibits. The University of North Carolina-Charlotte will host the Ninth Annual State of North Carolina Undergraduate Research Symposium in Nov. 2013.
