The Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) is now accepting abstracts for presentations at the 2013 annual sustainability conference in Nashville, TN on October 6-9.
Kojo Thompson, a senior Clinical Exercise Science major at Appalachian State won the Undergraduate Best Research Presentation award at the South East Region American College of Sports Medicine Conference in Greenville, SC on February 16th.

Student research on religion and its effects on organ donation and a controlled greenhouse study on chicken litter were among the winners of a Student Research Poster Competition held at Appalachian State University during the 15th Annual Celebration of Research and Creative Endeavors.
The Office of Student Research invited the campus community to the 15th Annual Celebration of Student Research and Creative Endeavors Meeting on Thursday, April 19, 2012, from 9 am - 5 pm in the Plemmons Student Union.
